'Vital Signs' was commissioned by the Latrobe Valley Council in Victoria for the new Community Health Services building in Morwell.  It responds to the river valley through the abstracted depiction of reeds and rushes. The forms in this work are a reference to the resources fond around river systems and the community activity of gathering around a water hole.  The work was fabricated by Bert Manning, Mittagong NSW.
